Kestrel

The 3D Factory’s Unique 3D Bookmark

Kestrels are the second most common bird of prey in the UK, behind the buzzard. Kestrels are found in a wide variety of habitats, from moor and heath, to farmland and urban areas. The only places they do not favour are dense forests, vast treeless wetlands and mountains. Their distinctive hovering technique makes kestrels easy to spot. They are often seen hovering above overgrown roadside verges. Also look out for kestrels perched on fences and atop lamp posts.
