Lupins

The 3D Factory’s Unique 3D Postcard

Lupins, or Lupine, originally come from the Mediterranean region and the Andean Mountains. Lupins were first introduced to the Mackenzie district of New Zealand in the 1950’s by local farming families. For about 4-5 weeks at the end of each year, the centre of New Zealand’s South Island bursts into colour – purples and pinks and blues and yellows sprout up along lake sides and in riverbeds in Mackenzie Country, making the already-stunning views even more incredible.
