Westminster Abbey is a large church in London, situated to the west of the Palace of Westminster. Every monarch has been crowned in the Abbey since 1066. The ancient coronation chair still sits
inside the church. The Abbey has also been the setting for 16 royal weddings and various other occasions. It is also the burial site for over 3,300 notable persons of British history.
